Magazines on German newsstands

  1. Madame – I want exactly that hairdo ... I just think my hair won't stay that sleek ;(!! Curls all over! |
  2. LIVING AT HOME – Very spring-like and colourful! And with a great article about Bastis Rike, who is a German photographer/blogger/stamps-maker with sooo much talent (check out her shop for sure!) |
  3. And last but not least the Laviva - a quite cheap women's magazines I actually picked up at the supermarket line. Why?! I found two blogger friends in there: Susanne S. (la-petite-cuisine.blogspot.com) with a beautiful food feature and Susanne G. from cherrypinkpurple! |

Fonts I loved recently
A little while back I already told you about the wonderful font "Strangelove" and recently I discovered another great selection of handwritten fonts over at snippet & ink (great blog!). I found myself spending more and more money on digital goods like fonts or Photoshop actions and brushes, but I can tell you: it feels right! And I use them almost more often than the tenth pair of sandals! My three favourites (two of them even are free):

  1. EMILY LIME – A real bargain at $29: 8 fonts are in the package with a lot of beginning and end swishes (you can see it above in the Breakfast Picks Picture and I'll probably use it ALL the time for sisterMAG issue 2 ;)) |
  2. Picture 12 WISDOM SCRIPT – Although free I donated a little something to James T. Edmondson last year. I was SO surprised when I found an email in my mailbox with a Thank-you-note – an actually DRAWN Thank-You-Note. Isn't that sweet? It makes you feel allright about donating and supporting designers! |
  3. MATILDE – A real girls' font, Matilde! And it comes with a package of .eps files full of badges and swung emblems. Sometimes I am just thrilled what you can find when browsing through the WWW!
Toll! Ich bin immer wieder begeistert, was man alles so findet!

Colour inspiration blogs

  1. Color Collective – not only a fashion inspiration but always a good ressource for unusual colour combinations!
  2. Lovely Clusters – the pretty blog sharing beautiful collages, products ... and colours!
  3. A favourite among the plattform's blogs (which can be quite boring sometimes). However the blog from COLOURlovers is full of colours, trends and colour combinations and you can see a lot of research going into
