Wallpaper June 2011

I hope you all had a lovely start in it and I want to sweeten up this month with a new wallpaper. The picture comes from "Berlins Modenblatt" from 1956. I just love all the details which are hidden in these illustrations. That's why I've chosen two different sets of views for the iPhone and iPad wallpaper this month!

As the months are passing by we have now arrived at the colour BLUE for this month and I am so excited to see what I can come up with to feature the different shades of this extremely versatile colour. Any suggestions? Furthermore there will be another "focus week" as you've seen it in April (Roses). I won't reveal its topic just yet – I only say: it will be a pattern which has been seen on many catwalks this season and seems to be EVERYWHERE (in design, packaging, clothes, on cups and cupcakes ;)) … and it is also hidden in this post somewhere!

Last but not least I wanted to thank you for the lovely comments you sent in the last couple of days! And thank you to cat-und-kascha for mentioning the free vintage dress pattern on her blog. I do very much hope that your readers choose the Neu4bauer dress as your next project ;)! If you want to participate in her little voting, head over to her post.

Talk to you soon! Yours, Theresa

Also dann – bis bald, Eure Thea

Bettina

Woooow I just LOVE your blog! Such a nice layout and THANK YOU for the patterns. I have a 1956 edition of the Lutterloh pattern book and its full of beautiful patterns but I only have a scan of the ruler and I'm too scared to try it out yet.
